Giving evidence to the Justice Committee in October, Sir Andrew McFarlane, president of the High Court family division, speaks to MPs about the effectiveness of Family Drug and Alcohol Courts (FDACs) and his wish for there to be an FDAC in every court area. He explains that current access to FDAC is a postcode lottery due to haphazard funding, but the social benefit of FDAC should mean it has support from across the government.
